Jimmy’s in Manchester.
Jimmy’s in Manchester is a bar/club and live music venue. I loved it! I was there to see a band, Sick Joy (see Music Monday on 15th October), but I could just as happily visit this place for just a few drinks. It’s gorgeous on the inside with a great atmosphere. I’m not sure what the crowd is usually like, but thanks to the gig, they were my people - the rockers, the grungers and the outcasts. The music that played when the band wasn’t on was excellent too - Rolling Stones, The Doors and T. Rex to mention a few.
I spend most of my Friday nights watching TV on the couch, and as an introvert, I’m happy to do so, but every now and then, it’s great to let my hair down too.
