This is a snapshot of my everyday life and the things I love. My three dogs are the most precious thing I own although their importance can’t be measured in money. There is no love in this world like that of a dog’s. To me, my dogs are my friends, my family, my travel companions and my team mates.
Here they are in our front garden, which is securely fenced off so that they can’t escape to the road. The mountain of grass you see in the photo is there to fill in a pothole. We used to have a sandbox in that spot, like one of those children play in, to encourage our Jack Russell to dig there instead of on the lawn. In his old age, Benny has retired from his full-time occupation as a digger, and our lawn is largely undisturbed, so we got rid of the sandbox. Yes, you have to make allowances when you have dogs, but it’s so worth it!
