I don’t often do this, share pictures of food, but this was too nice.
My partner was gone to a gig recently, and I was alone on a Friday night. I enjoyed some frozen food for my dinner. These are prawns in a salt and black pepper coating, and they are delicious! I would often have them with chips but fancied something lighter on this occasion, and they worked out beautifully with a salad and sweet chilli sauce. Sweet chilli sauce makes everything just that bit tastier.
I only started eating prawns this year, really. Before that, I was suspicious of how they looked and judged them on a single early life experience. Then my local Chinese takeaway messed up an order once and accidentally gave me prawns in a dish. It roused my curiosity, and now I am a fan.
