It’s Finland’s Independence Day today. We are 102 years old.
I thought it was only fair to share a photo from my beautiful homeland. This was taken last summer, and I don’t expect it to look quite like this when I get over for Christmas next week, but isn’t it beautiful? That’s what Finland looks like in the summer - all blues and greens. In the winter, it’s all about the whites.
I guess that explains the colours on our flag.
