Lambs are a sure sign of spring in rural Ireland.
We encounter them regularly on our walks. Most of the time, the lambs are in the fields with their mothers, but occasionally, they also end up on the roads, which makes for adventurous driving at this time of the year!
My dogs are also curious about these creatures. Dexter, in particular, loves all other animals - cows, sheep, rabbits, horses, you name it, and he’ll want to make friends with it. It’s one of his most endearing characteristics - and he has many.
