When do you ever see an airport as deserted as this?
It’s almost a little eerie, but I enjoyed my brief respite while travelling back from Finland recently. This is a new section of Helsinki airport, and it’s mostly domestic flights, so in the middle of the afternoon, it’s not exactly inundated.
While I travel a lot and know how things work, I find it stressful. I don’t like people much, and I hate crowds, so airports and busy stations always put me in bad form. For us introverts, finding these quiet corners is a huge relief at such times.
