An oldie today.
This photo is from 2007. My partner and I took took our then only dog Benny for a week long holiday in Scotland. It’s still one of my favourite holidays. I love travelling with dogs, and Scotland is very dog friendly. We had no trouble finding accommodation, and there are so many beautiful walks. One of the evenings, we almost lost Benny in the garden of our hotel when he spotted a rabbit or hare - it was too dark to see - and started chasing it. A Jack Russell Terrier on the hunt is deaf to everything around him! We worried we had lost him, what with a railway and motorway nearby, but luckily, the bunny leapt over a stone wall which Benny couldn’t clear.
One of my favourite spots from that trip is Blair Castle near Pitlochry. So much history, so much to see, and such beautiful grounds. I strongly recommend it if you are in Scotland.
