Two things I made for the first time today: a midsummer pole and a wreath. They both look equally crap, but it is midsummer, and I’m not home in Finland like I’d love to be. It’s absolutely the best time of the year to visit Finland.
I spotted the tree trunk recently after my partner had cleared out a part of the garden aka jungle. I thought it would make a great midsummer pole, and since I have been off from my day job for the last few days, I thought it would be fun to try something different.
