Exploring with dogs - this was one of my favourite places. We brought a picnic and all, and yes, the dogs got treats too. This is a few years ago, so pre-Dexter, in case you’re wondering why there are only two dogs in the picture!

Moore Hall in Co. Mayo has fascinating history, and I feel so privileged to have been able to walk its grounds. It’s sad the way history is thought in schools. I love it now, as a grown-up, to understand how people lived. I have no interest in politics, past or present, so wars and conflicts don’t interest me much unless I can understand it on a personal level. That’s where being able to visit places makes it so much more tangible.
