I’ve recently been reading Danny Goldberg’s book, Serving the Servant - Remembering Kurt Cobain. Nirvana’s and Kurt’s influence on music cannot be underestimated, and yet, as I read about how the band exploded with this song, I wonder how it would be received if it was released for the first time today. Would it still have such an impact? Of course, had it not been released in 1991, we would probably have a different music business today. How the mind boggles. (I think too much.)
