One of our single-glazed windows.
We’re waiting for new doors and windows for our house. A boring topic, I know, but my partner and I are hugely excited. Some of the windows on this old house are single-glazed and draughty. The patio door is a sliding one and constantly sticks. We avoid using it now, preferring to walk around the house to get to the back garden rather than risk it being stuck. We’re going for triple-glazing, and we can’t wait to see the impact it has on our heating costs and on the indoor temperature.
All we’re waiting for is the Irish government to OK construction work again.
