We have few castles in Finland. In fact, I have never visited a single one of the few we have. I took this photo through the train window on my way to Helsinki recently. This is the Häme Castle (Hämeen linna) located in the town of Hämeenlinna. It’s an absolute stunner, and every time I go by on the train, I’m tempted to jump off and go explore… I haven’t yet. One day, one day.
