Another band that’s been and gone.
I saw Blitz Kids several times when they were still together, and I never made any effort to see them. They were just always supporting Young Guns, and I’ve seen those guys a LOT!
I liked BK and was sort of sad when they broke up. Most of their members formed a new band shortly after, and in a bizarre twist, I ran into one of the boys later at a show the above mentioned Young Guns were playing, resulting in me trying to reunite one of Blitz Kids’ most fervent fans who was also at the event with said band member… Fandom can be a weird thing. If you’re lucky, you make friends with your favourite bands, and you don’t want to miss a chance to catch up with them if you’re in the same place at the same time.
God, I miss live music!
